Music is a universal art. It appeals to the whole person, in every state of mind, in every age, emotionally or intellectually: there is no emotion, no state that can not be expressed and experienced through music.
That is why music is a basic need, a fundamental right, not a luxury – at the same time, it is the richest, most beautiful and most important luxury that civilization has produced! Because civilization explains and justifies itself not only by the fact that it always wants to achieve more than what is absolutely necessary, and must, but also by the fact that all achievements become necessary.
The Klangakzente e.V. club wants to support and promote this basic musical idea. On the one hand with the organization of concerts, which convey the music as directly as possible to the audience, and on the other hand with support of young musicians in their development and work, in order to convey this existential understanding of art into the next generation of active musicians.
Our events are open to interested listeners at any time, be it at a concert of the Academy or the concert series, or during the lessons at the master classes.
We look forward to welcoming you to our concerts of the Klanglichter concert series and the Akademie!
The Klangakzente e.V. club stands for cultural and musical experiences. We have set ourselves the goal of enriching cultural diversity and actively promoting the preservation of classical music.
To achieve this goal, we have launched the concert series “Klanglichter”. Every single concert should offer a unique experience on a physical and emotional level and inspire through a variety of programs. The concert series includes four concerts a year. These interprete with music the special atmosphere and the light of each season and combine them with dazzling impressions of various kinds, also in combination with other arts such as literature or dance.
On the other hand, we are organizing the International Summer Academy 2017 for the first time in the Ettal Monastery. We can offer a variety of master classes in front of the impressive backdrop of the Benedictine Monastery and the Ammergau Alps, and here promote the musical offspring during an intensive work phase with our professors. Daily student concerts and our summer festival frame the Academy, which takes place from 20 August to 2 September 2017.
Through the many top-class concerts with internationally renowned musicians and promising young talents, we make an important cultural contribution outside of the major musical centers.
